<h1>Tomáš Císařovský: Without Horses</h1>

The series of portraits represents the present progeny of the most outstanding aristocratic families, bound by their origin or relations with the Czech territory. With this work, Tomáš Císařovský linked up to the part of his work revoking the issue of national identity. The series of life-size paintings was produced during more than two years and it refers, among others, also to the position of classic themes of painting in contemporary art.
