Jiří Georg Dokoupil is one of the not many Czech artists of post-war period to be established fully on the international art scene. The more interesting is that the exhibition in Galerie Rudolfinum was the first comprehensive presentation of his work in the Czech Republic. Galerie Rudolfinum participated from the very start on the project which presented the work of JGD in several places in Europe during the exhibition tour.
