Artpark – We Shall Overcome…

Galerie Rudolfinum wishes like to invite you to an opening of a new installation in Artpark on Wednesday, 16 January at 5pm. An interactive guide to contemporary art expands frame of the exhibition by contemporary African-American artist Arthur Jafa A Series of Utterly Improbable, Yet Extraordinary Renditions.
The guide follows the history of African-Americans, their struggle for equality against the background of the history of musical genres stemming from the African-American tradition. History meets now in the installation My Manifesto.
The opening will feature a commented talk on the installation and a teaser of the program.
