Candice Breitz’s Sweat (2018) is a series of interviews with members of the eponymous South African activist organization SWEAT, which concerns itself with the rights and equal standing of sex workers in society. Why is this work a kind of a gateway to the exhibition? Why do we see only a close-up of the lips of the sex workers? Curator Jen Kratochvil will answer these questions.
