For the last day of Zhanna Kadyrova: UNEXPECTED exhibition, we prepared a Green Swap in Galerie Rudolfinum. Free admission.

The event is connected to one of the exhibited works. As a symbolic closing of the exhibition, Refugees (2023) depicts images of plants surviving the occupation alongside living plants that have travelled together with Kadyrova from Ukraine to Germany and now to Prague, remaining safe and well cared for, and finding temporary shelter in Galerie Rudolfinum.

We would like to invite you to visit us on June 30 between 11 am and 2 pm and exchange plants and plant cuttings with other visitors. You can also discuss growing tips and tricks with florist Kamila Sichrovská, founder of Kytky ve dvoře atelier. Which plant species can you find in the Refugees installation? What care do these plants need and what will suit your swapped cuttings best? And do the plants feel pain?

The Green Swap is followed by an art workshop for children (and parents) Portraits under the open sky, which starts at 2 pm.

The exhibition itself will be open according to normal opening hours.
