Poetika kódování: Umění v technocénu

The world today is ruled by proprietary algorithms, secret data repositories and impenetrable systems. How is this reflected in art? In The Poetics of Coding, Nadim Samman analyses works that highlight the hidden dimensions of our technological landscape. Contrary to the deceptive claims of a new culture of transparency and openness, these works focus on black places, black boxes and black holes while straddling the line between informed concern and occult dreaming.

The publication Poetika kódování: Umění v technocénu, a Czech translation of the book Poetics of Encryption: Art and the Technocene, is published on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Poetics of Encryption at Galerie Rudolfinum.
