Art Sounds | Zhanna Kadyrova: UNEXPECTED
Enjoy the music between the exhibited works. Art Sounds is a new joint programme of Galerie Rudolfinum and the Czech Philharmonic in the Zhanna Kadyrova: UNEXPECTED exhibition.
On selected Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm, you can experience a series of short musical performances by members of the Czech Philharmonic directly in the exhibition halls. Each performance is 10–13 minutes long. The repertoire freely responds to Zhanna Kadyrova’s exhibition and its themes and will be performed repeatedly on a given day. You have the opportunity to enjoy it several times in a row. Or you can opt for just one musical reflection and then move on through the exhibition.
Admission is free.

Scenic music on Ukrainian folk motifs
The three Ukrainian songs that will be performed as part of Art Sounds are extraordinary – in their authenticity, purity, depth, humility and urgency. The performance will take place in the exhibition hall No. 4 with the installation House of Culture and will illustrate its atmosphere, the music will emerge from silence and darkness and will gradually subside again.
